Early Week 10 NFL Football Bets

I'm going out of town tomorrow (not back in town until Sunday morning). Sure there is internet on the road, but just in case I'm too busy to look at games, I'm getting some action in early... I really can't miss week 10.

Chicago Bears (over New York Giants)
12-November-2006 5:15 PM PST
Spread +3 for Game -125

Really? Come on! If the Bears didn't lose last week, this line would be Bears -7. And what did the Giants do? They beat Houston. Sure NY is 6-2, but those 2 losses came to good teams. The Giants this year have been very good at beating up the weaker teams (We will not overlook Houston), something the Bears didn't do last week... Well, this week Chicago will be focused. Expect them to win.

The rest are all big home dogs (standard bets):

Tennessee Titans over Baltimore Ravens
12-November-2006 10:00 AM PST
Spread +7 for Game +103

Oakland Raiders over Denver Broncos
12-November-2006 1:05 PM PST
Spread +9.5 for Game -112

Arizona Cardinals over Dallas Cowboys
12-November-2006 1:15 PM PST
Spread +7 for Game -108

That's all for now... I might add some plays (time permitting) with info later in the week.

Good Luck.

Okay, the Raiders suck

I saw a lot of value in their line this week, but they are are just bad... Monday night's are strange too... 2 weeks in a row, I've lost on Mondays.

Anyway, finished out the weekend 4-4 on the NFL for +0.49 units (all bet are to win 1 unit unless otherwise stated)

NFL record year to date: 22-19-2, +3.47 units YTD

Fantasy Football: Anothony Thomas

Willis McGahee injured his ribs against the Packers, handing the ball to Anthony Thomas, who rushed for 95 yards on 20 carries. Thomas is likely to be the top waiver wire pickup this week. ...

Thomas is a rumbler who won't be confused with Willis McGahee anytime soon. He'll be a decent runner for the Bills if McGahee misses time with the rib injury. If you need a running back, Thomas is a decent No. 3 option at Indianapolis in Week 10.

Go Raiders!

Today's results and Monday night football pick

4-2 for today, winning all 4 sides, but losing both totals in the NFL. (also Lance Armstrong finished the NYC Marathon)

In fact, every dog I bet not only covered, but won... I should start betting the money line more often. Today's winners: Miami, San Fran, Washington, and the Lions.

I posted the other day that Oakland +7 over Seattle is my best bet this week (with a quick write up). I'm on both the spread and the money line.

Btw, I love fantasy football. I'm killing in one league, and if Doug Gabriel gets over 4 pts tonight (40 yards), it'll be a clean sweep.

Anyway, I'm glad that things are getting on track, and I hope to win (and help you win) some good money from here on out.
