NFL Week 3 - Football Sports Betting - Added Bets

All my lines all season are from BoDog. Sometimes you might get different lines than I have, but BoDog has good lines that can be found almost universally online and in Vegas.

So far I've only had 3 bets each week. Well, it's still early in the season. I don't really like picking a lot of games until week 5. Now more bets:

Buffalo Bills +6 (-105) over New Orleans Saints

This is an interesting home dog. The Bills are 1-1 (and could easily be 2-0). The Saints are on the road for their second week, and this is their first real test of the year. This line has value. The public loves the Saints, even though they haven't faced a good team yet this year. They killed the Lions and then beat Philly without McNabb. 6 points is too much to give the Bills at home.

St. Louis Rams +7 (-125) over Green Bay Packers

Another interesting home dog. The public hates the Rams, but a lot of money has been placed on them. The Rams are underrated in this spot. This is their home opener. They haven't been able to get a lot going on offense, but expect that to change this week against the Packers' weaker defense. It's no secret that Green Bay's O-line is terrible. St. Louis has played decent defense so far this year. There is value in this line.

I'm already on:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers/New York Giants OVER 44

That's all for today. I might have some more for tomorrow. (watching the news out of NE.)

2009 Season Record: 4-2

NFL Week 3 - Football Sports Betting

Tampa Bay Buccaneers/New York Giants OVER 44

Both these teams can put up points. TB is a running team, and the Giants have had problems stopping the run. The Giants also just lost their strong safety (out for the year). TB hasn't won a game this year, and gave up 34 and 33 points so far this year. My money is on the over.

It's the week of the home dog with at 7 lines favoring away teams. I'm still looking at games, and I'll have more bets later in the week.

YTD record: 4-2

Fantasy Football Week 3 Waiver Wires Pick Ups

3-0 last weekend. 4-2 for the year. Making some money already :O)

I didn't have a play on yesterday's game. I usually start betting on Monday night football later in the year, so if you're following me, check back on Mondays to see if I have a play.

I don't often post fantasy football pick ups (and who knows if I ever will again), but almost everyone plays now, so I thought I'd throw out a few names that I'm targeting this week.

Mario Manningham - #2 WR on the Giants. Had TDs in their first 2 games.

Johnny Knox - He seems to be Cutler's new favorite target. He had a TD and 70 yards last week. He could become the #1 WR in Chicago.

Justin Forsett - He's current splitting carries with Julius Jones. Jones is the starter in Seattle, but he outplayed him on Sunday.

Mike Sims-Walker - Troy Williamson is out of the year, so Sims-Walker is now the #2 WR in Jacksonville. He had 106 yards and a TD last week.

Chris Brown - No, not the singer. He's that back up RB in Houston. With Steve Slaton's struggles, it's not a bad idea to grab Brown now. He got 8 carries last week, and he could start stealing more.

That's all for now. I'll have some bets for you later in the week.

Good Luck
