NFL Week 8 Sports Betting - All of Sunday's Bets

Below are all the plays that I'm on for Sunday. I did quick write ups for these in other posts, so just take look at my homepage for all that good info. The hot streak is cooling, but I’m still 11-5 over my last 16.

The full card for Sunday has 5 dogs and 1 favorite. I'm also thinking about a Monday Night Football bet on the Titans. I don't have any action on that game yet and probably won't bet until Monday.

Seattle Seahawks +5 (-110) over San Francisco 49ers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2 (-110) over Dallas Cowboys
Atlanta Falcons +9 (-110) over Philadelphia Eagles
San Diego Chargers -3 (-115) over New Orleans Saints
Arizona Cardinals +4 (-110) over Carolina Panthers
New York Giants +3 (-125) over Pittsburgh Steelers

NFL Week 8 Sports Betting - New York Giants vs Pittsburgh Steelers

New York Giants +3 (-125) over Pittsburgh Steelers (bet at BoDog)

The Super Bowl Champions as an underdog? Come on now. The Giants should be favored this game, and I think it's fairly obvious. The Steelers also have a lot of injuries to key players on both sides on the ball.

Take a look at my other posts for all plays.

NFL Week 8 Sports Betting - Arizona Cardinals vs Carolina Panthers

Arizona Cardinals +4 (-110) over Carolina Panthers (bet at BoDog)

The Cards are getting Boldin back this week, reuniting the best #1 and #2 wide receivers in the league. The Panthers have a great pass defense that shut down Brees and company last week, but I expect Fitz, Boldin and now Breaston to be able to move the ball and get some TDs this week. Arizona is also coming off a bye with 2 weeks to prepare. The Panthers are coming off a huge win, and I expect this game to be a let down for them going into the bye.

NFL Week 8 Sports Betting - San Diego Chargers vs. New Orleans Saints

San Diego Chargers -3 (-115) over New Orleans Saints (bet at OddsMaker)

This game is being played at Wembley Stadium, London, England and is a "home game" for the Saints. Both teams have losing records, but the Charges are 2nd in the AFC West and Saints are last in the unexpectedly good NFC South. A big blow for the Saints is the loss of Reggie Bush for a few weeks due to injury. It also leaked that Deuce McAllister has been caught violating the NFL substance abuse policy. While he'll play in England, you have to figure that this will be waiting on his mind and those of his coaches. Not sure how this might effect him...

Take a look at my other posts for more plays. I'll sum them up once all my bets are made.

NFL Week 8 Sports Betting - Atlanta Falcons vs Philadelphia Eagles

Atlanta Falcons +9 (-110) over Philadelphia Eagles (bet at OddsMaker)

The Falcons have been undervalued all year. If you've been following my plays, you'll have seen me bet them most weeks since Week 2. Well, it's week 8 and they're still undervalued. This Atlanta team with a winning record is going up against a 3-3 Philly team at home, and I expect "the Burner" Turner to be able to run all over this Philly's D who gave up over 100 yards rushing to the last 2 RBs they faced.

NFL Week 8 Sports Betting - Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2 (-110) over Dallas Cowboys (you can get the +2 at BoDog)

This line is off. The Bucs should be favored here. Dallas is without Romo and still hurt on defense, but that doesn't stop America from betting on America's team. I'll gladly take advantage of this weak line, and lay my money on the Bucs.

BTW, I think Earnest Graham is a great start in fantasy football this week. Graham should get 15 plus carries this week with Dunn out, and Dallas's defense (which is average verse the run) looked terrible last week.

Already on:
Seattle Seahawks +5 (-110) over San Francisco 49ers

I'll be back with more late today...

San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Prostitutes – They Both Suck

This November 4th, San Francisco is voting on whether or not to allow prostitution in their city. While hooking is illegal in Cali, the proposed law would not allow police to arrest prostitutes in the city limits. If passed, San Fran would be the first major US city to allow prostitution, although they all allow sluts (Thank God). Prostitution is also legal in Nevada (but not Las Vegas) and Rhode Island (only as long as the sales happens behind closed doors). Rhode Island? Who knew?

Seattle Seahawks +5 (-110) over San Francisco 49ers

Everyone is talking about how bad the Seahawks are, but does anyone remember how badly the 49ers suck too? The 9ers fired their coach on Tuesday, but are favored to win on Sunday even though they haven’t won a game in a month. The Seahawks will probably be without Hasselback, but they haven’t had him for 2 weeks now and have only lost by 10 points twice over this period to much better teams, Tampa Bay and Green bay. I’ll take the 5.

Other betting thoughts - Not a lot of pretty home dogs this week. The Titans line looks a little low at 4. People are hammering the Giants +3 early.

Anyway, the hot streak is cooling, but I’m still 11-5 over my last 16.

Monday Night Football Sports Betting - 11-4 over the last 15

Money Night Football Betting:
Denver Broncos +3 over New England Patriots

Denver is a very similar team to San Diego. Both are strong on offense, and weak on D. The Pats couldn't score on the Chargers last week... New England is also a VERY public team, no matter how often they lose, people still think that they will win. This is baked into the line every week and especially on MNF. I'll take the value with the Broncos.

Sports Betting - NFL Football Free Picks - 9-3 over the last 12!

Technically I'm 9-3-2 over the last 14, but I'm dropping the pushes as they were no action, and I think 9-3 looks cleaner...

Cincinnati Bengals +10 (-115) over Pittsburgh Steelers

I'm adding another homedog here. Now Cincy isn't very good, but they have played a very tough schedule so far this year and tend to play up to the competition. Also Pittsburgh's offense doesn't score a lot of points. The Steelers focuses on the run, and are stuck starting their 3rd string running back this week, Mewelde Moore, due to injuries in the back field. Lastly, double digit dogs have covered 8 out of 10 times this year.

I'm already on:
Green Bay Packers +2½ (-110) over Indianapolis Colts
Buffalo Bills +1 (-110) over San Diego Chargers

These lines are from Bodog, which usually has better lines and odds for underdogs. This is one of he reasons that I use Bodog more than other online sportsbooks. Also I bet the Packers and Bills earlier in the week, and the lines have move in my direction for both plays. Because of this, I have spreads that are no longer available, but I still like both these plays.

I think this is all for today. There are a few more bets that I'm still considering, but I'm happy with just these 3 this week. If I add anymore, I'll update here.

Good Luck
