Feedback on this weeks NFL Play of the Week

All bets posted here.

Feedback: couldn't disagree more (with the Carolina bet). Big road win and Minnesota isn't a favorite. Week 2 is great for teams with upset wins in week 1.

My response: That's a very general statement. I look at each game on a game by game basis... and there are several trends directly against what you are saying.

look for week one road dogs that won, that are still dogs at home in week 2. It's 10-0 ATS in the last ten fading these teams...

I don't put much stock in trends, and trends aren't why I like this game. The Jets fit into the same mentioned trend, but I'm not playing the Pats.

This is a strong Carolina team, and I believe Minnesota is overrated do in part to their Monday night road win.

Good Luck.

NFL Week 2 football bets: added play

St Louis Rams 17-September-2006 1:05 PM PST
Spread -3 for Game +103

I was against the Rams last week and with the 9ers... That said, the Rams proved they could hold their own (and win) agaisnt the Broncos. The 49ers showed some talent, but Arizona (although improved) is still a mediocre team. These Rams could be the real thing. It's still week and the the time for corrections, but I'll bet the Rams and I'll give the 3.

Also on:
Carolina Panthers ML
Houston Texans/Indianapolis Colts UNDER 47 for Game -104

Good Luck.

NFL week 2 football bets

Carolina Panthers
17-September-2006 10:00 AM PST
Money Line for Game -105

Super Bowl contender against a decent minny team playing at home. NO SMITH, but this line is still off. I'll take the Panthers as a pick.

already on the Indy/Houston under...

More to come.

Good Luck.

NFL Week 2 Bets: the beginning

Houston Texans/Indianapolis Colts
17-September-2006 10:00 AM PST
Total Points UNDER 47 for Game -104
Way too many points for this game. Houston has no running game (even with the recent trade for Samkon Gado who will need time to settle into their offense). The Colts haven't proved their ability to get it done on the ground this year yet either. 47 points is almost 7 TDs. It's not gonna happen.

More to come.

NFL week 1 football bets recap

Thank you Jake Plummer for the 4 turnovers (5 for Denver in total), and ruining my play of the week.

Even with your terrible Sunday, I still came out 3-2, but man do I hate to losing the bet of the week.

watching the washington/minny game, and think about week 2.
