A few NFL Bets for Sunday - Week 1
Seattle Seahawks -5½ -105
A lot of action on Seattle, and I jumped on board. I grabbed a real good line late last night, and now that I see 86% of all bets coming in are on the Seahawks, I'm not too thrilled with it. Traps look too easy and this game looks like a cake walk. TB defense is terrible and the Seahawks at home should roll. Anyway, I have to be happy with the price I got, so I'm not over thinking this week 1 play.
Denver Broncos/Buffalo Bills OVER 37 -110
I'm actually leaning to the Bills in this game, but not enough for a side play. Denver's D is overrated, and it's dragging down the total. I see this going over 40.
That's all for now.
Good Luck this weekend.

The NFL season opener and Fashion Rocks 2007
Well the Colts/Saints game came and went, and I didn’t write a thing
Week 1 of the NFL is always hard to bet and often full of surprises. I missed last night’s game (more on that later), but I heard that it looked like both teams were still working out the kinks for the whole 1st half.
It’s too bad that I’ve been so busy lately because I would have bet Colts last night. I decided on this game when reading the lines last week, but then completely forgot about it. I usually like betting the Super Bowl winner in the 1st week, and it would have cashed. Anyway, I’ll probably have a bet or 2 for Sunday by tomorrow.
Fashion Rocks 2007 was the reason I missed the Colts game. I was given free tickets to this concert last night (it airs on CBS tonight), and with their line up of stars, it seemed something worth going to… Anyway, this show was definitely created for TV. Since it wasn’t live, I thought there would be no commercial breaks, but I was sure wrong. They stopped the show every 15 minutes for a set change between performers, and I ended up out in the lobby at the bar instead of @ our seats for most of the night. If I had bought tickets, I would have been pissed, and I doubt I was the only one. I would say about 1/4 of the theater was empty by the time the show ended… the after party was fun though…
I’ll be back with a few bets tomorrow.
Good Luck.

The new BoDog .com and domain dispute
For anyone looking for BoDog - Click this link
From BoDog:
The details around this lawsuit are a little fuzzy and apparently have to do with trademark rights over the BoDog domain name or Online Gambling in general. It was first reported that an individual was suing BoDog (probably the most successful online book) claiming to have a patent on online gambling. The suit named BoDog.com specifically, and to duck this suit BoDog changed domain names. This has since been refuted, but BoDog is doing business as usual at the new name.
I still feel safe in playing with BoDog through the new site, and I still consider them to be one of the best and safest sportsbooks online. They proved a lot to me by not folding to US pressures that were trying to push them out of the market… I guess we just have to wait to see how this case plays out.
Good Luck!
From BoDog:
As a part of the ongoing response to the lawsuit that caused a temporary disruption in Bodog Entertainment's use of trademarked domains, the company is directing all customers to alternate sites with little or no interruption to Bodog Entertainment services.
Bottom line: customers can enjoy everything that Bodog Entertainment has to offer right now. Everything they see will be the same as what they are used to and Bodog will resolve any minor glitches shortly.
