NFL Football Picks/Bets - Super Bowl Bets - Added Bets

All bets placed at Bodog. I'm already on a few prop bets. You should check out my last post for the reasons why.

Green Bay Packers -3 (EVEN) over the Pittsburgh Steelers
After a lot of thought I'm picking Green Bay will win this game. They opened as the favorite, so Vegas thinks the Packers will win too. That said, I'm going to give the 3 points. I think the Steelers played over their head to get back to the Super Bowl, and they just have too many weaknesses in their secondary to keep it close for 60 minutes.

Total QB Sacks by Pittsburgh Steelers Under 2½ (+105)
The Packers haven't given up more than 2 sacks in playoffs. At plus money, I think this bet has value.

I'm already on:
Total Passing Attempts– Aaron Rodgers (GB) Under 34½ (+100)
Total Receiving Yards – Hines Ward (PIT) Under 42½ (-105)
Total Receiving Yards – Heath Miller (PIT) Over 42½ (-115)

That's all of now. I'm still considering a few more bets. I'll update tomorrow.

Good Luck,

NFL Football Picks/Bets - Super Bowl Bets

All bets were placed at Bodog. They offer a ton of prop bets on the Super Bowl. From the normal ones to "Who will the Super Bowl MVP of the Game thank first?"

I haven't picked a side yet, but I did bet a few props today.

Total Passing Attempts– Aaron Rodgers (GB) Under 34½ (+100)
Green Bay throws a lot, but 34 attempts is A LOT. It's more than Rodgers threw in their last 3 playoff games.

Total Receiving Yards – Hines Ward (PIT) Under 42½ (-105)
Ward has lost a step since his Super Bowl MVP performance years ago. The Packers were 5th in the league defending against WRs.

Total Receiving Yards – Heath Miller (PIT) Over 42½ (-115)
The Packers give up a lot of yards to tight ends, and Miller still gets a lot of looks.

That's all for now. I'll be back with more bets later in the week.

Good Luck
