The Preakness Stakes - Horse Racing

After betting Barbaro across the board at the Kentucky Derby and winning all three bets, I'm tempted to follow with the same action here, but after winning the Derby, this horse has become a HUGE favorite. The field is smaller, but he still has some stiff competition... Anyway, I'll be limiting my betting on Barbaro to win and Brother Derek to show... As always on the horses, smaller action bets...
After witnessing a record day of wagering on the Kentucky Derby, the Racebook is preparing for another wave of bets as the Preakness nears and the excitement surrounding Barbaro builds.

No undefeated Kentucky Derby wínner has ever lost the Preakness Stakes. Barbaro, who is listed as an even-money favorite by the Racebook, will seek to extend that streak to seven at Pimlico.

At Churchill Downs, Barbaro beat 17 horses with ease to improve to 6-0. Only eight stand in his way as he aims to capture the second leg of horse-racing's Triple Crown in Baltimore. The smallest field since 2000 also includes only two other entrants - Brother Derek and Sweetnorthernsaint - who ran in the Derby on May 6.

Along with odds on the race, is also offering a variety of proposition wagers, which include whether Barbaro indeed will become the first Triple Crown wínner since Affirmed in 1978. A $100 "yes" wager will earn a payoff of $185 if Barbaro wíns the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes on June 10. -
