Brett Favre vs the Pats - injury reported

Warning on the Packers game!

From SI:
Packers coach Mike McCarthy revealed after practice Friday that Favre suffered a groin injury in practice a day earlier.

McCarthy said Favre was limited in practice Friday and took only some of the reps, though the reduced workload is typical for Favre in the final practice of a week.

"He's sore today. His groin really bothered him," McCarthy said.

Favre was included on the team's extensive injury report earlier this week because of sore ankles, which kept him out of most of practice Wednesday.Favre is considered probable to play Sunday against New England at Lambeau Field.

His streak of 250 straight starts, including playoff appearances, doesn't appear to be in jeopardy.McCarthy said there are no concerns about Favre's ability to move in the game.

"I talked to him at length today. He doesn't think (the groin injury is) a big deal," McCarthy said.Asked how the 37-year-old Favre was hurt Thursday, McCarthy said, "Just practice. Old age. Whatever."

I'm not buying off yet... trying to look for more news...
