What the hell happened? Baseball Betting

It was a beautiful day in the city. So I went out to lunch, had some great humus and a few beers. Did a little shopping. Picked up a Johnny Damon jersey (probably my favorite player), and a new lock for the gym.

Sidenote: I've had Damon in my big money fantasy league for the last 3 years. It's a redraft league, and I swear that I don't target him in drafts or trades, but I always get him. I'm not really sure how it happens.

Then I caught Hot Fuzz with my special lady friend. Those 2 Brits are hilarious and make some good movies.

We get back home, and I turned on the computer to check out the games. That's when the day got ugly. 0-4 before tonight's games. Terrible.

De La Rosa went 8 innings to beat the Twins (after loading the bases in the first with 1 out). The Cubbies lost in extra innings. The White Sox and the under were both winners until Marcus Thames hit a game tying homerun in the 9th with 2 outs. That bomb lost me the under, and the White Sox went on to lose the game in the 12th.

Anyway, with the luck I've been having today, betting on the Red Sox and K-Dice tonight should be a lock :O)

It's a long season, and I don't sweat 1 day's card.

That said, Go Yanks! Go Damon!
