Kentucky Derby Betting
I'm not the greatest horse handicapper, but I did have Barbaro across the board in last year's Kentucky Derby (before everyone fell in love with him).
This year, I walked down to the OTB and placed a number of bets for family and friends... For myself, I took the 6 horse, Cowtown Cat across the board. At 20-1, I don't think that it's a bad bet.
Cowtown Cat is running out of the 6th post position and has what I think is a strong competitive streak in him. He won his last two by a few lengths and has shown constant improvement over his racing life. He'll need to improve here to win this one, but I like him at 20-1.
