NFL Football Sports Betting – Saturday and Sunday Football Bets - Week 16
Well, I won the Thursday night game and now stand at 39-28 so far this football season... and I have a bet for the Saturday night game, as well as a few of Sunday's games.
Baltimore Ravens +4½ (-115) over Dallas Cowboys (line from BoDog)
The Ravens are the better team. The line favors the Cowboys because they are home and everyone loves to bet them. I'll put my money on the better team plus the points.
Buffalo Bills +7 (-115) over Denver Broncos (BoDog)
Another game where the wrong team is favored. The Bills have sucked as of late, but they have Trent Edwards coming back this week. He should be able to re-energize the Bills offense against the Broncos terrible D. I also don't see Champ Bailey playing this week. The Broncos season is over, and they won't risk rushing him back if he's not ready. With limited practise yesterday, I don't think he's ready.
St. Louis Rams +5½ (-110) over San Francisco 49ers (OddsMaker)
The Rams make a live home dog this week. Frank Gore is San Fran's only real viable offensive weapon. He's questionable and probably won't play. San Fran won't risk him with nothing to play for. Steven Jackson is back for the Rams, and he's finally playing like the stud that he is. He shouldn't have a problem running against the 49ers D. Believe it or not, but the Rams still want to win. Interm coach, Jim Haslett is trying to avoid their longest losing streak in 17 years and not look like a complete schmuck after taking over the head coaching job.
Pittsburgh Steelers -2 (-115) over Tennessee Titans (BoDog)
The Steelers are rolling here while the Titans are falling backwards. The Steelers were able to move the ball against the Ravens, and they should be able to do it again in Tennesse. On the other side of the ball, the Titans could score against Houston's so-so defense. They will have real problems against the Pittsburgh D.
That's all for now. I might be back with a few more bets tomorrow before game time.
Good Luck
