The holiday season is crazy. I think I've drank more beer, wine and shots in the last week than I did in the whole month of November. While I've gotten used to rolling into work at noon with a hangover, I haven't been able to even think football until today.

I love this bet! Every sharp player I know is on Philly, yet the Public is still backing New Orleans.

Both teams are so out of favor that they have a few points of value in the line.

It's been a rough week in betting so far.

Cincinnati Bengals +1½ -110
Cinci is a live home dog. The Titans has serious injuries on both sides of the ball. Cinci's potent offense shouldn't have a problem scoring on Tennessee just like Denver did last week.

Minnesota Vikings +7 -110
The Giants are plagged with injuries on offense. No deep threat and hurting RBs. Minny has their problems, but with their running game, they score and control the clock with anyone.

Philadelphia Eagles +24½ -105
This spread is ridiculous.

Good value in this line. Both teams like to pass and should be able to score often vs 2 of the weaker (Lions) or injured (Broncos) secondaries in the league.

Other thoughts:
Betting on the Skins looks way too easy. What am I missing?
I'm actually leaning on the Colts, but I'm resisting the urge to bet this game. I hate betting against a team that has covered every week so far this season.

There are some real interesting home dogs this week. They were for shit last week, and I'm purposely avoiding the New England/Indy game at all costs.

Philadelphia Eagles +3 +110
Okay I only took 3 on this game, but I don't even think I will need it. The Cowboys are statistically the better team here, but they have had a much weaker schedule skewing the stats. The public is in love with the Boys (91%), and even though I don't believe in "trap games", this one fits the profile perfectly.

Tennessee Titans -3½ -115
Carolina' weak defense should let Vince Young rebound nicely this week. Mean while, the Titans D should have no problem handling an offense lead by David Carr.

Betting into the Home Dog, and fading the lowly Falcons. Can anyone blame me? They are terrible.

Detroit Lions/Philadelphia Eagles UNDER 44 -110
Detroit Lions +5½ -110
The Total is where it is because of Detriot's passing attact, but I think they will run more this week with Jones back. Philly hasn't been all that impressive this year. The coach's kids are all messed up, McNabb is in the press for more drama, and Westbrook should be limited. I can see Detriot winning outright, but I'll take the points.
