NFL Sports Betting - Week 17 Football Bets
New England Patriots -12½ -105Rumor has it that the Giants will be resting players in the 2nd. The Pats historically let their starters play. The Pats are also going for a record tonight, and I expect them to get it.
Atlanta Falcons -107
Believe it or not, the Falcons have value in this game. Seattle is locked into the 3rd seed, so like the Giants, they have nothing to play for and should be resting players.
Kansas City Chiefs +6½ -110
No one should be getting 6+ pts vs the Jets.
Miami Dolphins +2½ -110
Miami at home vs a team they can beat. They should be motivated and playing for their jobs.
Cincinnati Bengals/Miami Dolphins UNDER 45 -110
The once potent Cincinnati offense has failed to score 20 points in four consecutive games.

That is all for now. I'm leaving town today for Atlantic City. I'll be there through New Years, so this might be my last post of 2007.
Good Luck and Happy New Year!

NFL Sports Betting - Week 15 Football Bets
Another ugly week last week, leaving me up a little less than half a unit in football so far this year. I did cash the boxing ticket though...Updated 2007 Football Record:
NFL sides: 29-26-3, +0.34 units
NFL totals: 11-12-1, -1.05 units
College: 12-12-1, +1.14 units
The favorites in the NFL have been running real well the last couple of weeks. The public has been real hot, and this has left a lot of opportunity to bet some juicy dogs this week.
That said, get ready to hold your nose this week. I'm betting more games than usual and hitting a few games hard. I usually don't like this much action on a single weekend, but I have to bet opportunities as they present themselves.
San Francisco 49ers +9-110 (2 units)
This big home dog is getting no love.
Atlanta Falcons +13.5 -110 (2 units)
The Falcons move on this week without Vick who is serving 23 months. Their season is done, but they'll still try to spoil this division rival. I'll take 2 TDs against the defensively oriented Bucs.
Other dogs I'm on this week (all to win 1 unit):
Miami Dolphins +4½ -115
St Louis Rams +10 -110
Carolina Panthers +8 -110
Kansas City Chiefs +4 -110
Oakland Raiders +11 -110
Washington Redskins +5 -105
All that action and I haven't even looked at the totals yet... I think I might be passing on those this week.
Being that it's the holidays and my schedule this week is ridiculous, I'm not sure if I'll post again before Sunday. That said, this Sunday is the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, and those crazy Ron Paul supporters are putting together another "money bomb" for him on Sunday. Ron Paul is the most pro online gambling presidental candidate in the 2008 race, and that's why I'm writing about him. You can check out this fund raiser at Tea Party 07.

Good Luck this week sports betting people.

NFL Sports Betting - Week 14 Football Bets - Sunday's Games - Full Card
I'm jumping on this bandwagon. The world like TB to cover this week and for good reason. There is a lot of value in this line as Tampa is the better team on both sides of the ball.
Kansas City Chiefs/Denver Broncos UNDER 37 -110
This game goes fast with both teams running the ball, but with key offensive injuries, the game stays under.
Dallas Cowboys/Detroit Lions UNDER 50½ -110
just too many points in this total.
For week 14, I'm already on:
New England Patriots -10 -110
Arizona Cardinals +7 -110
That's all for now.
Good Luck.

NFL Sports Betting - Week 13 Football Bets - Sunday's Games
New York Giants/Chicago Bears UNDER 39 -110Weak offenses, injuries, bad weather.
Cincinnati Bengals/Pittsburgh Steelers OVER 38½ -110
Both teams can score points. This field will be better than Monday.
Four more bets that are huge public fades, 3 of which are playing at home:
Atlanta Falcons +3 -100
Arizona Cardinals -½ -110
Kansas City Chiefs +6½ -110
Oakland Raiders +4 -110
Week 13, I'm already on:
Washington Redskins -5 -110 (2 units)
Chicago Bears +2 -110
Dallas Cowboys -7 -110 - Winner

NFL Sports Betting - Week 7 Football Bets
Seattle Seahawks -7½ -110
Dallas Cowboys -9 -105
I got good lines on both these games. Too big favorites playing at home coming off loses. Both lines have value.
Atlanta Falcons/New Orleans Saints UNDER 42½
Atlanta should continue to struggle on offense. I don't believe that the Saints are back. Take out last week's win, and they haven't scored more than 2 TDs in a game this year.
2 bets made Monday night:
Kansas City Chiefs +3 -115
Buffalo Bills +3 -110
It looks like I was right on both of these as the lines have moved with me. I expected the Chiefs to be favored here and Baltimore is hurting.
This should be my final card for week 7.
Good Luck.

NFL Sports Betting - Week 6 and Week 7 Football Bets - Monday Night Football
81% of all bets are on the Giants!
I've been on this bet all week, and the more I look at it, the less I like it. The Giants are the better team here, but everyone is betting them this game. It's like the Packers game last week. They were the better team, but lost and everyone was on them... That said, the public does win sometimes, so I'm letting it roll...
2 Bets for week 7 (write ups coming later):
Kansas City Chiefs +3 -115
Buffalo Bills +3 -110
NFL sides: 9-9-1, +0.05 units
NFL totals: 6-5-1, +1.65 units
College: 5-4, +1.65 units
3-0 on all bets for 2 units
Good Luck!

NFL Sports Betting - Week 5 Football Bets - Added Plays 2
2 home team with bad defenses. Expect this one to be a high scoring affair.
Denver Broncos +1½ -110
Denver hasn't been a division home dog in the last 11 years for good reason
Cleveland Browns +17 -110
too many points
Already on:
Green Bay Packers -3 -120
Jacksonville Jaguars/Kansas City Chiefs under 36 110
San Francisco 49ers +4 -110
Cleveland Browns/New England Patriots OVER 48½ -110
Good Luck today.

NFL Sports Betting - Week 5 Football Bets - Added Plays
San Francisco 49ers +4 -110
The Ravens haven't won on the road this year (losing to Cinci and Cleveland) and now they are going to San Fran and giving points? Derrick Mason, the Ravens #1 reciever, is also banged up. The 49ers should be looking forward to a home game they can win and will let it all hang out going into their bye week.
Cleveland Browns/New England Patriots OVER 48½ -110
Good value in this line. Cleveland puts up points, and the Pats haven't scored less than 34 in a game this year.
Already bet -
Green Bay Packers -3 -120
Jacksonville Jaguars/Kansas City Chiefs under 36 -110
That's all for now. I might have more later.
Good Luck.

NFL Sports Betting - Week 5 Football Bets
Green Bay Packers -3 -120
Fading the Bears again. Same story as last week. The Bears' secondary should be hurt and the Packers (like the Lions) like to throw and do it well.
Jacksonville Jaguars/Kansas City Chiefs under 36 -110
Trying the Chiefs under again. Neither team has been impressive on offense, and 36 should be high for this game.
Good Luck.

NFL Sports Betting - Week 4 Football Bets
There are so many home dogs this week! Too bad I they can't all win.
This is my full card for the NFL this week. No added plays except maybe on Monday.
Detroit Lions +3 -115 (2 unit play)
Home team getting points. Detroit has a very dangerous offense that loves to throw. And Da Bear's secondary is beat up! Harris, Briggs, Vasher, Tillman... My money's on Detroit.
Atlanta Falcons +3 -105
Home team getting points. I've seen the Falcons +2.5 even though the world is on Houston. The books are begging for action on this game, and they are all backing the Birds. I like it... After all, the Texans starting #1 receiver is Andre Davis!
Oakland Raiders +5 -110
Miami is terrible. This is a good spot for them to get a win, but 5 points is too many points for this team to give anyone, even the Raiders.
Buffalo Bills +3½ -110
Home team getting points. The Bill's 3 losses came against teams with an 8-1 record, so the schedule has not been easy. But they can beat the Jets! They would love win vs their division rival at home. They are motivated and could get their first win this week. And I'm getting 3½ points...
Kansas City Chiefs/San Diego Chargers UNDER 38½ -110
There is serious money on this under. I found a good line, so I took it.
Baltimore Ravens/Cleveland Browns OVER 40 -110
Value in this line. The Ravens defense is not as tough as last year.
Good Luck!

Added Football Bet - NFL Week 1
The Chiefs offense is underrated. The Houston Texans have a young, inexperienced defense vulnerable to the big play and an improved but over hyped offense. I'll take the points on the better team.
Add it to Week 1.
Good Luck.
